Introduction

Mocko ("we," "our," or "us") is a macOS application developed focused on generating app screenshots. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to your data.

By using Mocko, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us at jason4wang@gmail.com.

1. Information We Collect

Mocko operates almost entirely offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit any sensitive personal data, user content, or app screenshots to our servers. All image processing, generation, and file exporting happen strictly locally on your Mac.

We or our third-party partners may collect non-identifiable usage and diagnostic data (e.g., app crash logs, anonymized analytics) or subscription and purchase verification data strictly for functional operational purposes depending on your macOS settings.

2. Apple Services & Third-Party SDKs

Mocko does not embed external advertising tracking SDKs. However, depending on your macOS device's Privacy Settings, Apple might collect crash reports or usage analytics. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat

We use a third-party service provider, RevenueCat, to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat may process certain data, such as purchase receipts, app version, and an anonymized app-specific user ID, solely for the purpose of verifying and restoring purchases.

RevenueCat does not process or store sensitive payment data such as credit card numbers. All payment data is handled directly by Apple’s secure in-app purchase system. For details on RevenueCat’s privacy practices, see its official Privacy Policy.

3. Storage & Security

We store locally required functional information securely on your device. We adopt appropriate macOS security standards to protect local application configurations. We retain any operational data relating to purchases only for as long as necessary to provide you the service.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We will never share actionable user information unless you have explicitly authorized us to do so or we are legally compelled by law for national security or criminal investigations.

5. Policy Updates

We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect app updates or regulatory requirements. Any profound changes will be posted on this page or through app update notes.
